Tiered Fee Structure

Rowling & Associates uses a tiered fee structureA fee schedule whereby different asset levels are assessed different fees. based on Assets Under Management (AUM) breakpoint amounts. The following two examples of different asset levels illustrate how this tiered fee structure works.

$1 million Portfolio Example
  • A portfolio value of $1 million would have an annual fee of $11,250 = $6,250 + $5,000.
  • The blended fee would be 1.12% on the $1 million portfolio value.
  • Fees are paid in advance each quarter. In this example, the quarterly fee would be $2,812.50.
  • Fees are pulled from the investment accounts except for the 401(k), which is paid from the trust account. Fees from IRAs are a tax-free withdrawal.
$2.5 million Portfolio Example
  • A portfolio value of $2.5 million would have an annual fee of $24,250 = $6,250 + $5,000 + $9,000 + $4,000.
  • The blended fee would be 0.97% on the $2.5 million portfolio value.
  • Fees are paid in advance each quarter. In this example, the quarterly fee would be $6,062.50.
  • Fees are pulled from the investment accounts except for the 401(k), which is paid from the trust account. Fees from IRAs are a tax-free withdrawal.
